The CNRS has an opening for an assistant engineer (Bac+2) in instrumentation and experimental techniques for Epos-France’s Sismob specific action.

The aim of this position is to ensure the technical management of the instruments of the SisMob national park, the CNRS mobile seismological instrument park. As part of the Geophysical Instrumentations technical department of ISTerre (Institut des Sciences de la Terre), the agent will also support the maintenance and operational follow-up of the Specific Actions of the Epos-France Research Infrastructure (IR) and the National Observation Services (SNO) of the CNRS Institute of Universe Sciences, for which ISTerre, a research unit attached to OSUG (Observatoire des Sciences de l’Univers de Grenoble) has local responsibility. He/she will also provide technical support to ISTerre research projects on an ad hoc basis, and interact with counterparts on site or at national level.
