EPOS metadata training as part of Geo-INQUIRE
Thursday, October 19, 2023, from 10:00 to 12:00 CEST

The training session will explore metadata and its critical role within the European Platform Observing System (EPOS) research infrastructure. It will focus on how metadata, combined with semantics, contribute to data interoperability and accessibility in a federated distributed infrastructure, based on web services, encompassing various scientific domains within EPOS.

ETRiS online training – Geo-INQUIRE: Empirical fragility and vulnerability curves for risk analysis
Monday and Tuesday, November 06 and 07, 2023, from 9:00 to 11:00 CET

Two-day virtual training and user test, for the European Tsunami Hazard Service datasets (https://eurotsunamirisk.org/) empirical risk products – fragility and vulnerability curves. Organized by the Institute for Risk and Disaster Reduction at University College London. The skills and know-how covered by this course are applicable to any type of natural hazard (e.g. seismic, flood, hurricane, etc.).
