The Digital Assembly on the theme of a digital, open and secure Europe was held in Stockholm Arlanda, Sweden, on June 15 and 16, 2023.

The aim is to enable Europe to be at the forefront of technology and develop a competitive digital single market, with a focus on cybersecurity in the digital decade. The event enables stakeholders to exchange views on how to “realize Europe’s potential in the digital decade”.

The European community took advantage of the Assembly to showcase progress in quantum technologies in a dedicated session. It gave an overview of European achievements in quantum research and innovation, as well as an insight into quantum technologies that will soon begin to have an impact on the environment. Professor Alain Aspect, Nobel Prize in Physics 2022 for his outstanding work in the field, was present.

The session ended with three live demonstrations of quantum technology innovations currently being developed by European companies, including the Exail quantum gravimeter from the PGravi National Instrumental Park, accompanied by S. Merlet, head of the Resif Gravimetry Specific Action.
