The ForM@Ter data cluster is recruiting an Information and Communication Technology Engineer (M/F).

The candidate will participate in the design and creation of terminological and ontological resources to improve the discovery, access and processing of solid Earth data as part of the ForM@Ter data and services cluster of the Data Terra Research Infrastructure (data-terra.org).
He/she will contribute to set up a working method for the maintenance and updates of these resources for each Solid Earth discipline. He/she will ensure their standardization under adapted formats and models (RDF, SKOS, OWL) and will contribute to the implementation of software bricks allowing their dissemination and access.
He/she will also contribute to complete the description of the data exposed in the metacatalog of the ForM@Ter portal (metadata sheets).
This work will be done based on the recommendations issued by the Data Terra IR, in collaboration with the Data Terra vocabulary, catalog and data warehouse implementation work team. They will also build on the ongoing work of the IR RESIF-EPOS (www.epos-france.fr) and the European Plate Observing System (EPOS) IR www.epos-eu.org/. The candidate will participate in the coordination of the ForM@Ter work on vocabularies and thesauri with these three IR.
